Choosing Subjects of Interest from a Variety of Elective Courses
Choosing Subjects of Interest from a Variety of Elective CoursesIn the first year, students acquire a broad foundation of knowledge and general education rather
than specializing in a particular field. In mathematics, information studies, and English, each
class is divided into two smaller groups so that teachers can give more individual attention.
From the second year, a wide range of elective courses is offered. Through these elective
courses, students acquire academic and specialized knowledge according to their interests and
future paths.
In the third year, a greater variety of elective courses is offered. In addition to courses
taught by our teachers, students may also take specialized courses taught by faculty members
from Keio University.
The school also actively promotes learning opportunities outside the classroom, such as company
visits, museum tours, and attending performances of traditional performing arts. Our curriculum
also focuses on encouraging students to explore their own interests and provides them with
opportunities to choose their future paths and fields of study for themselves.
